SHANTANI MOORE I first found yoga as a way to supplement my dance career, but quickly came to realize more about myself on the mat than anywhere else. I knew I wanted to share my passion for yoga with others, so I traveled to Bordeaux, France for a destination teacher training via YogaWorks.  Yoga is a safe way to explore and play with new approaches to movement while still reconnecting with what matters most to you. I feel most alive fusing my dance experience with yoga on the rebounders here at Madre. It is such a creative way to detox, reset, and reconnect. I look forward to sharing the freedom yoga has to offer, and intend to share love, positivity, and a sense of play with each and every person I meet. When I’m not teaching yoga, you’ll most likely find me: Hiking, rehearsing for a new show, spinning poi, or drinking red wine! Dogs/Cats: Puppy lover all the way! To me, Madre means: Reconnecting with your most authentic self. Currently Playing: Geronimo by Sheppard

MADELEINE TIBALDI I was lucky enough to be introduced to yoga at age 10 and I’ve been practicing ever since! I was immediately drawn to both the physical benefits of the practice and also its calming effect on my often restless mind. In 2016 I decided to enroll in my 200 hour teacher training in Pai, Thailand. More recently I have become a certified Reiki practitioner and have undergone additional training to become a certified yoga instructor for holistic addiction recovery programs. Yogis can expect a strengthening warm up, creatively sequenced flows, and a calming final relaxation that will allow them to recharge, let go and cultivate a sense of peacefulness. My classes encourage students to embody the powerful connection between movement and breath and honor their own authentic selves. When I'm not teaching yoga, you'll most likely find me: at the beach, writing in a coffee shop, at the movie theatre, or experimenting making elaborate acai bowls. Dogs/Cats: Cats! To me, Madre means: A sacred space where we can take the time to slow down, connect inwards, and let the superfluous flow away. Currently Playing: Tame Impala, Glass Animals, Childish Gambino, Børns, Caribou, Milky Chance

KATHLEEN CRUGER I originally came to yoga as an additional form of exercise. After practicing for a few weeks, I noticed a mental and emotional shift in my life, and a positive change in the way I interacted with the world around me. Yoga quickly became part of my lifestyle, and I am grateful for the ability to share my passion and knowledge as an instructor. I recognize the tremendous benefits that a regular yoga practice brings into one's life - I encourage everyone to give it a try. My focus while teaching is to provide a safe, judgement-free zone where both new and seasoned yogis, alike, may develop a stronger connection with their mind, body, and spirit -on and off the mat. In addition to yoga, I am a certified Reiki practitioner, Vibrational Sound Therapist, lover of nature and music. When I’m not teaching yoga, you’ll most likely find me: playing guitar Dogs/Cats: are both amazing! To me, Madre means: connecting with your true self Currently playing: Sun Spiller

ANNA CANTWELL The quiet solitude of yoga enthralled me from a young age, and I celebrate and explore many kinds of yoga. While teaching high school in Houston and receiving my Master’s degree, I fell in love with Baptiste yoga and practiced daily to relieve mental stress and physical tension. Forrest yoga was my next discovery, and it provided immense physical and emotional healing for me. Through a connection at my school, I discovered a yoga teacher training specifically catered to school teachers, and with that came a radical shift. I relocated to Los Angeles to teach yoga and bring the joy and peace of yoga to local schools, offices, communities. When I'm not teaching yoga, you'll most likely find me: writing poetry or listening to music—outside Dogs! To me, Madre means: the embodiment of the balance of grace and strength, and a sacred space to explore that balance Currently playing: Tom Misch, Rhye, Maxwell
